ALA is seeking a part-time online learning assistant to work with our Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA) and the Reference and User Services Association (RUSA) divisions.
Reporting to the ASCLA/RUSA Web Services Manager, this position will assist in organizing and supporting the divisions’ program of online CE opportunities to increase their quality and generate income for the divisions.
Responsibilities include maintaining digital submission and session evaluation forms, assisting with calls for proposals, contacting presenters for scheduling and logistics, setting up virtual meeting rooms, communicating registration information to the Member and Customer Services Department, supporting the Marketing Specialist to promote upcoming opportunities, creating and issuing certificates of completion and tracking the previous activities to make sure they are carried out and all the deadlines are met.
