Professional Development Opportunities

Jefferson College in the St. Louis metro area has created a paid internship for LIS students to gain academic library reference experience.  This position will provide you with experience in reference, information assistance, some information literacy instruction, collection development, and circulation.  For the full position description, click here.

Taylor & Francis Group is sponsoring two students' travel to Austin, TX for the Electronic Resources & Libraries conference, which takes place April 2-5, 2017.  The student travel grant includes conference registration, air travel costs, and housing up to $2,000 per winner.

The 2016-2017 LISGSA Board has set aside funds to help students who are seeking professional development opportunities.
